EPAM Systems Vice President, Account Management (Market Lead) in Austin, Texas

We are hiring a Vice President who has experience working with large, distributed teams, designing impactful business strategies, and solving complex strategic problems for large, global organizations. The Vice President will drive the Texas portfolio of customers, maintain senior-level client relationships, and successfully ensure the quality, integrity, value, and financial metrics of the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Clients, Delivery Teams, Technology Practices, and Consulting Teams

  • Develop and implement account and commercial strategies, architecting and overseeing delivery approaches, building successful relationships, and owning business results

  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio

  • Bring creativity, curiosity, and innovation with a positive energy to help clients not just execute on their current programs, but also realize new business and technical opportunities tied to their mission and strategy

  • Shape solutions that bridge strategy and plans to real-world execution; properly scoping/pricing engagements with delivery team counterparts, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase

  • Engage with senior level stakeholders across all areas of the business on a regular basis, delivering a continuous flow of business building and improvement ideas, while securing relationship and performance feedback

  • Design and implement consultancy-led transformative engagements for our customers across Hi-Tech, Trave/Hospitality and Retail/CPG industries

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of developing and growing client relationships and leading teams delivering end-to-end solutions within a software development or management consulting organization

  • Knowledge of technology, business models, subject matter, and trends in Retail/CPG, Travel/Hospitality, Media Entertainment or Hi-Tech

  • Experience with running a book of business, ideally $50M+ of services work under management

  • Proven history and ability to sell software engineering services (cloud, analytics, digital engagement, etc.)

  • Highly skilled in Executive Presence, Exceptional leadership/management skills, Excellent Oral and Written communication skills, Confident Presentation skills

  • Proven track record of leading teams

  • Extensive experience working in and knowledge of industry/market trends for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (and/or Austin)
